Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Pandora-Gilboa Local Schools is implementing updated attendance procedures in response to changes enacted through Ohio House Bill 96. These changes place a greater emphasis on identifying attendance concerns early and partnering with families to provide support before students become chronically absent. Please review the infographic for important information about attendance thresholds, chronic absenteeism, habitual truancy, and excused and unexcused absences. Regular attendance plays one of the largest roles in student learning and success. We appreciate the continued partnership of our families as we implement these state-required changes and work together to keep our Rockets in school and learning!
